Today while driving back to work from lunch I passed a herd of Stormtroopers headed to comicon. I honked at them and yelled “wooooo!” from inside my car. I realized, at that moment, I have become not my mother, buy my mema. She used to cheer so hard for every single person in a parade or performance. I don’t go to parades so I cheer for Stormtroopers walking down Jefferson on a Thursday afternoon.
La Brea tar pits on Flickr.
Joel and I went to the La Brea tar pits last summer. I really wasn’t expecting to see this and get completely bummed out. The reason the tar pits have so many fossils is because it was a real horror show back in the day.
Queen of England and her Leica M3
i’d LOVE to go thru queenie-poos photo album…!
I saw this last night. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. I was expecting more…but then I couldn’t stop thinking or talking about it for the rest of the night. That alone is enough to make me decide that I liked it. Most movies these days just spoon feed you answers and wrap everything up into a neat little bow. Not getting all of the answers was refreshing. Basically, I recommend this movie even though I can’t say that I loved it exactly. It’s definitely worth watching.
